I’m Nicki Kelleher and I’m the founder of tenantsNZ – I’m also a property investor, property finder, property manager and letting agent … so it’s no surprise that property has always been a hobby / passion of mine.
I’ve owned and managed my own rentals for 24 years now, since purchasing my first investment property in 1994. When I started doing property management professionally, I was surprised at how many high calibre tenants, relocating to NZ, struggled with finding a rental property, and I knew there must be a better way to assist them.
I kept being asked “Can you find us something?” and so I set about developing a specific system which simplifies the house-hunting process, positions my clients out in front of the rest of the hunters, and is a win-win process for tenants + owners. Personally … nothing is more satisfying than matching a terrific tenant with their wonderful new home … and its happy owner, of course.
I served 12 years in the NZ Police, followed by 10 years as a licensed private investigator, and almost 5 years as a fraud investigator.
